New Students:  Families new to Jeffco should begin the enrollment process by creating an account in Jeffco Connect. Add your student(s) by choosing "Add New Student." You will find helpful reference guides on the Jeffco Connect web page to assist you.    

Please bring, email, or mail copies of the following documents to the Lukas office to complete enrollment:

  • Birth Certificate

  • Immunization Record

  • Proof of residency (purchase contract, utility bill, lease agreement)

Families with Jeffco students who are new to Lukas boundaries should update their address information in Jeffco Connect. Then bring proof of residence to the school.  

Once your child is enrolled, you will be able to pay fees in Jeffco Connect.  Please wait 2 days for fees to populate.

This year, at Lukas Elementary, we are asking that all families take a moment to complete the following form. When families are identified through this program, the school benefits significantly to provide much needed supports and materials to all students and families.

Free & Reduced Price Meal Application Instructions 
1. On your computer or smart phone, log in or create an account at You can also download the SchoolCafé app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. You will need an email address to create an account. 
2. If you already have an account but do not remember your password, follow the “forgot password” prompts in SchoolCafé 
3. Make sure all student information in the dashboard is current and accurate; if necessary, add any additional students in your household to your account. 
4. Under Benefits on left hand side, select Apply.
